Directed by P. Vasu and produced under the banner of Lyca Productions, the upcoming horror-comedy film, Chandramukhi 2 will be released in the theatres on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, September 15, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

Chandramukhi 2 is a sequel to the popular Tamil horror comedy ‘Chandramukhi,’ which saw Rajinikanth and Jyothika in prominent roles. The sequel will cast Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence in the lead roles. The story of the movie revolves around a woman who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. Later in the story, a psychiatrist is called to treat the woman as he plans to solve the case while putting his life in danger.

While the film will be released in the theatres on 15th September, the OTT release date of Chandramukhi 2 is yet to be finalized. However, many reports claim that the film will be released on Netflix in January, however, the official confirmation is awaited.
