Pushpa: The Rise was released in the year 2021, meanwhile, the release date of the second installment is not revealed. However, as per the reports, it is believed that the film might be released by the end of 2023 or at the beginning of the year 2024.

The first-ever teaser of the much-anticipated film Pushpa 2 was released by the makers on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday on April 8. The 3-minute-long teaser features how Pushpa disappears after being shot multiple times. In the end, the video features the first-ever look of Allu Arjun in the second installment of the movie. The second installment of the film will be featuring Allu Arjun as “Pushpa” alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna who will reprise her role as “Srivalli”. As per the reports, actor Fahaadh Faasil will be playing the antagonist in the film. However, it is also rumored that actor Vijay Sethupathi will be seen as the main antagonist in the second installment of the film.

Pushpa: The Rise became a huge blockbuster in 2021. The film shattered various box office records in South cinema and Hindi cinema to become one the biggest blockbuster hits during the pandemic. And to keep the legacy going the makers have spared no efforts in making the film a blockbuster hit like the first one. Reportedly, the second installment of the film is made on a whopping budget of approx. Rs 350cr to Rs. 500cr.
