Directed by Abhilash Joshiy and produced by Wayfarer Films, King Of Kotha is a period gangster drama featuring the story of a gangster named Raju (played by Dulquer Salmaan) from a fictional town who is working with the global mafia. The story will focus betrayal faced by Raju, his success and failure in life and how he falls in love with Tara (played by Aishwarya Lekshmi).

Although the OTT release date is not finalized yet but since the film is co-produced by ZEE Studios, therefore the digital rights of the film could be given to the streaming giant. The film will most expectedly be released on OTT platforms after October.

As per the reports, the film has witnessed an unprecedented sale of tickets. Around 5000 tickets have been sold in 24 hours in Kerala, according to booking platform, BookMyShow. Apart from Kerala the film reportedly has witnessed a great sale of tickets in UAE as well.
