Malayalee From India Box Office Collection Day 3: Film Drops Further

Dijo Jose Antony's Malayalam comedy drama, "Malayalee From India" starring Nivin Pauly further dropped at the box office on Friday.

Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, this political thriller stars Dhyan Sreenivasan and Anaswara Rajan. Initially announced in December 2023, the movie premiered on May 1st, 2024. According to Sacnilk, the film had a strong opening day but saw a notable decline in box office numbers on the following days.

According to, the Malayalam film registered a decent opening and earned approx. ₹ 2.9 Cr at the box office on its first day. However, the film witnessed slight fall in the subsequent days. Starring Nivin Pauly the film earned approx. ₹ 1.3 Cr on Thursday. The film dropped further and earned ₹ 95 Lakhs on Friday.

Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the Malayalam comedy-drama, Malayalee from India now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 5.15 Cr. The film recorded an overall Malayalam occupancy of 15.01% on Friday, May 3, 2024. Specifically, morning shows saw 11.33% occupancy, afternoon shows had 18.68%, while evening and night shows reported zero occupancy.

Residing in Mullakara, Kerala, Aalparambil Gopi, portrayed by Nivin Pauly, discovers joy in cricket matches and engages in political activism alongside his close friend Malghosh, played by Dhyan Sreenivasan. However, a miscommunication sparks violent clashes between the Hindu and Muslim communities in their village. In order to shield Gopi from the turmoil, he is sent overseas for employment.
