According to Sacnilk, the film had a strong opening day but saw a notable decline in box office numbers on the following days.

According to Sacnilk.com, the Malayalam film registered a decent opening and earned approx. ₹ 2.9 Cr at the box office on its first day. However, the film witnessed slight fall in the subsequent days. Starring Nivin Pauly the film earned approx. ₹ 1.3 Cr on Thursday. The film dropped further and earned ₹ 95 Lakhs on Friday.
Directed by Dijo Jose Antony, the Malayalam comedy-drama, Malayalee from India now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 5.15 Cr. The film recorded an overall Malayalam occupancy of 15.01% on Friday, May 3, 2024. Specifically, morning shows saw 11.33% occupancy, afternoon shows had 18.68%, while evening and night shows reported zero occupancy.
