Shilpa Shetty’s dashing and straight forward character in this series will be a treat to the audiences. In a recent interview with News18 Showsha, Shilpa Shetty revealed about her motivation behind playing Tara in the Indian Police Force.

Shilpa Shetty portrayed the character of Tara to give a tribute to the Indian Police and Viaan is another reason why she chose Rohit Shetty’s this series. She said that her son Viaan started watching movies these days.  His interest in Rohit Shetty’s films is rising. It won’t be exaggerating if we say Viaan is a big fan of Rohit’s films. And this is one of the reasons Shilpa Shetty accepted this role. She said, “Viaan got genuinely thrilled about my portrayal as a cop in ‘Indian Police Force’.” She continued saying, “I did this series to pay tribute to the unwavering dedication of women in our forces, reflecting their selfless contribution.”

When she got an offer to work with Rohit Shetty, she was doing “Sukhee” in Chandigarh. It was an 8-day schedule in Chandigarh. And at the same time, she had a commitment to the reality show “India’s Got Talent”. But Rohit Shetty was in urgency. Suddenly, he had to shoot specific scenes in Mumbai as he was running out of time. Thus, Shilpa approached Sukhee’s producer Vikram Malhotra to adjust herself between these from leaving Chandigarh to going to Mumbai for India Police Force, returning to Chandigarh and again going to Mumbai for her commitment to India’s Got Talent. Shilpa Shetty was juggling tasks and therefore her journey from choosing the character to portraying it while handling the schedule was really motivating, filled with hurdles.
