Aam Aadmi Party’s Youth-Centric Formula, Releases Rap Song ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’

Aam Aadmi Party's latest rap song 'Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se' is an election campaign set against the arrest of Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal.

Out of 7 phases of the general election 2024, two phases have been done in many constituencies of Indian states. And still, the parties are trying their best to promote themselves as a part of the election campaign. PM Modi has adapted the mechanism of a youth centric approach. Well, almost all other opposite parties have united together against the ruling government and as a part of this opposition’s election campaign, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched a rap song titled, ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’.  The song was released on April 25 which features Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest.

This rap song is written and sung by one of the AAP MLAs, Dilip Pandey and the music is given by Sushant Asthana. AAP has tried the same youth approach rap, which is a Gen Z trend. One of the users took to his X account and appreciated the efforts by MLA Dilip Pandey. He wrote, “AAP Timarpur MLA @dilipkpandey who is remembered for his work during the tough #Covid days, has penned the lyrics and lent his voice to the #AAP’s campaign song. It is actually a rap!”

Whereas another Party follower reflected on a previous campaign song sung by Vishal Dadlani. “It would have been better if they had brought back the same song. The public was connected to it. Even today, when you listen to it you get the same enthusiasm. @VishalDadlani sir we miss you,” she wrote in an X post.

Well, netizens said that the song lacks emotional quotient, and it will be difficult for people from all age groups to relate to the song. But the song is catchy enough that it will make people recite the lyrics again and again.
