1- Gangubai Kathiawadi
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, known for delivering films like Padmaavat, Black and Bajirao Mastani is ready to deliver another cinematic gem titled ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. The film features Alia Bhatt in the leading role with Ajay Devgn and Vijay Raaz in pivotal roles. It would be exciting to watch Alia in a totally new avatar as the cute actress plays a mafia queen.

Jhund is a biographical sports film starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The filming of Jhund began in 2018 and we have been waiting for its release for a long time. After the success of ‘The Tashkent Files’ based on the mysterious death of Lal Bahadur Shastri, director Vivek Agnihotri is ready to portray another chilling historic event on-screen. ‘The Kashmir Files’ is an upcoming Hindi film based on the exodus of lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir valley in 1990. The film stars Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher in the leading roles.

4- Jersey
After delivering a blockbuster film ‘Kabir Singh’, fans have been eagerly waiting for Shahid Kapoor’s next film. Already delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, his sports drama film ‘Jersey’ will finally release in theatres on 14th April. It is the remake of a Telugu film with the same name.

5- Laal Singh Chaddha
Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan has been working on the Hindi remake of the Hollywood classic ‘Forrest Gump’ for several years now. Also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film had several release dates but was delayed for one reason or the other. Recently, Aamir Khan’s production house announced that they won’t be able to release on Baisakhi, that is, 14th April, but also announced a new release date. We can’t wait to see another gem by Aamir Khan and what freshness he will bring on-screen in a remake.
