Director Priyadarshan & Akshay Kumar To Team Up After 14 Years For Horror Fantasy 

The Bhool Bhulaiyaa director just wrapped up the shoot of his documentary and said that he would be working on an important project with Akshay Kumar. 

Khiladi Kumar and filmmaker Priyadarshan are an outstanding pair who have given hilarious movies to entertain audiences. Now the pair has reunited to provide one such entertaining product. Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar are collaborating after 14 years for a horror fantasy with a humorous touch. As per reports by The Times of India, Ekta Kapoor will be part of this new horror venture.

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan last worked together for ‘Khatta Meetha’, released in 2010. The duo has worked under the comedy genre through various movies, like ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Bhagam Bhag’, ‘Bhul Bhulaiyaa’, ‘De Dana Dan’ etc. His first Bollywood Horror was a psychological thriller and the upcoming horror movie will be a fantasy, based on the oldest superstitions of India.  

In an interview with HT City, the Bhool Bhulaiyaa director confirms that he and Akshay have teamed up again.  He recently shot a documentary regarding the history of Ram Mandir and will work on an “important project with Akshay”, he mentioned.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar was recently seen in the action film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ alongside Tiger Shroff. The film garnered Rs. 84 lakh net on April 25, and today it will cross the Rs.100 crore mark. And Priyadarshan, who has grabbed the hold of the Malayalam and the Tamil industry along with Hindi films, last directed ‘Hungama 2’ in the Hindi film category.
