Vivek Agnihotri Accuses Anupama Chopra Of Sabotaging His Film ‘The Kashmir Files’

Vivek Agnihotri, the director of 'The Kashmir Files' has announced on Twitter that he will expose Vidhu Vinod Chopra's wife Anupama Chopra.

Director Vivek Agnihotri has launched an attack on film critic Anupama Chopra in his latest tweets. Vivek has been strongly defending ‘The Kashmir Files’ as a section of people call it a ‘propaganda film’.

Vivek Agnihotri has called out Anupama Chopra and accused her of sabotaging his film that is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. He wrote, “Dear @anupamachopra, the Shoorpanakha of Bollywood, If you have any guts, sabotage #TheKashmirFiles openly. Pl stop playing dirty tricks from the background. Your only qualification is that you are married to a Producer who despite being a KP, stabbed KPs in their back.”

When a fan asked, “What did she do?”, Vivek Agnihotri replied, “You will know soon. Will expose her dirty tricks soon. And also her two penny, third rate, irrelevant pawn Rahul Desai, the begging parasite who reviews films only to eat free burgers & fries. Join me in this war against Bollywood Oppressors.”

For the unaware, Anupama is married to producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who also made a film titled ‘Shikara’ on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits. While the audience expected a true picture of the horrifying incident, Vidhu Vinod Chopra turned it into a love story and received backlash for the same from Kashmiri Pandits.

Kangana Ranaut also stood in support of Vivek Agnihotri as she wrote on Instagram, “Biggest Chamchi of movie mafia. She needs to be exposed. Those who are partial and prejudiced don’t deserve to have any power.”

Vivek has been fighting against all the powers who don’t wish the world to see the real picture of what happened in Kashmir three decades ago.

When Vivek Agnihotri began working on ‘The Kashmir Files’, NDTV reported on its website, “A propaganda film has been written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, who previously helmed the equally-controversial ‘The Tashkent Files’.”

Today, OpIndia, exposed NDTV as it reported, “In the description of the movie, NDTV, even before the trailer of the movie was released, declared that the movie was a propaganda film.”

This revelation made NDTV edit their article. Vivek Agnihotri called it a ‘small but significant victory.’

‘The Kashmir Files’ stars Mithun Chakraborty and Anupam Kher. It is scheduled to release in theatres on 11 March 2022.
