After a long wait, the much-anticipated trailer of Prashanth Neel’s upcoming film, Salaar was finally released on 1st December. The action-packed trailer features the fierce and rowdy look of South superstar Prabhas as he comes to rescue his friend Varadha Raja Mannar (played by Prithviraj). Reacting to the trailer many netizens shared their reviews and opinions.

The 3-minute and 40-second-long trailer starts with a glimpse of a city named Khansaar. The trailer then proceeds to introduce the characters with Prithiviraj as Varadha Raja Mannar who is a a true companion of Deva played by Prabhas. The trailer is also full of action-packed scenes guaranteeing to give the audience goosebumps.
Reacting to the trailer a segment of netizens on X (formerly known as Twitter) shared their reactions. Hailing the film a user tweeted, “It’s Not A Trailer, it’s PURE GOOSEBUMPS”, another wrote, “Can’t wait to see..Masterpiece actors with masterpiece director..prabhas”.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, as soon as the trailer went out. Many netizens compared the trailer with film KGF. Many netizens also revealed that were purely disappointed with the trailer. A user tweeted, “#KGF2 Teaser >>> #SalaarTrailer Totally disappointed. #Prabhas ‘s dialogue delivery is a big minus. Dunki will eat Salaar alive”.
Expressing disappointment another user tweeted, “my god prashant neel n his obsession to make these heroes speak dialogues in english while they clearly can’t!!! this looks so cringe TBVH”.
For the unversed, Prashanth Neel’s Salaar will be facing a direct clash with Rajkumar Hirani’s film Dunki. Both Salaar starring Prabhas and Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan will be releasing in theatres on 22 December.

Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film will hit the theatres on December 22, 2023 and will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
