JailerBoxOfficeCollection: Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial, “Jailer” is currently one of the biggest opening Tamil films. Starring Rajinikanth the film was released in theatres on 10th August and opened up to extremely positive reviews from the audience. As per the latest reports, the film has now entered the 500cr club at the worldwide box office.

Rajinikanth starrer Jailer had a blockbuster opening at the box office, earning around 72cr worldwide. The film crossed the 300cr mark globally through its first weekend and has now crossed the 500cr mark by its second weekend at the box office.
As per the industry tracker Sacnilk, the film showed no signs of stopping, as it earned approx. 16cr on Saturday and 18cr on Sunday. The film now stands at a domestic total of around 280cr. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the film has now crossed the 500cr mark with its worldwide collection.
Sharing the same trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Jailer after it’s 2nd weekend (in 11 days), has crossed the ₹ 500 Crs gross mark at the WW Box office..2nd movie for #Superstar@rajinikanth in the ₹ 500 Crs+ Club after #2Point0”.

Jailer is a Tamil action-comedy film directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran. The film will feature South superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. Apart from him the film will also feature Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan and Mirnaa Menon.
