Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan had a remarkable year in 2023 with the blockbuster success of Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, all of which performed exceptionally well at the box office. Now, fans are eagerly anticipating his next release, and the actor recently provided an update on the shooting of his upcoming film, rumored to be the Sujoy Ghosh directorial, King.
During an interview with Star Sports on Friday, Shah Rukh said, “I just felt I can rest a little. I have done two to three films and there was a lot of physical work also in all the three films. So I said maybe I will take some time off and I told the whole team ‘main aaunga matches dekhne.'”
SRK further added, “Fortunately, my shooting is in August or July. We planned in June, so it may start in June. So I am absolutely free till then. So I would like to come to all the home matches, because I love coming here (Eden Gardens).”
Shah Rukh Khan’s Film With Daughter Suhana Khan
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is poised to collaborate with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time in the action film, The King. The movie is scheduled for release in 2025. Meanwhile, according to a new report, Shah Rukh Khan will portray a Don character alongside his daughter Suhana Khan in their upcoming film.
Similar to his original Don role, Shah Rukh’s character will exhibit shades of grey. Reports suggest that SRK and Suhana are collaborating on a project helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, rumored to be titled King. The film is co-produced by Siddharth Anand, the creator of Pathaan, and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
