Vaani Kapoor Joins Aparshakti Khurrana & Paresh Rawal Starrer “Badtameez Gill”

BadtameezGill: Shamshera actress Vaani Kapoor is set to lead in the upcoming coming-of-age drama “Badtameez Gill,” directed by Navjot Gulati. After making her Bollywood debut in “Shuddh Desi Romance” alongside the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Vaani has garnered critical acclaim for her performances in various projects. The new film promises to captivate audiences with its blend of light humor and an engaging storyline.

According to a report from Variety, “Badtameez Gill” features Aparshakti Khurrana and Paresh Rawal alongside Vaani Kapoor. Aparshakti portrays Vaani’s character’s brother, while Paresh Rawal takes on the role of her father. Set in Bareilly, northern India, and London, the film’s shooting is slated to commence this week. Produced by Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films, Saga Films Ltd, and Vinay Aggarwal, the movie promises an intriguing blend of settings and characters.

When discussing Vaani’s casting in the film, producers Nickky and Viicky Bhagnani explained to Variety that Vaani was their first and only choice for the role because they believed she perfectly fit the character in every way.

On The Work Front

Vaani Kapoor was last seen in “Shamshera” alongside Ranbir Kapoor in 2022. She’s set to star in “Raid 2” with Ajay Devgn, releasing on November 15, 2024. Additionally, she has “Khel Khel Mein” lined up this year. Aparshakti Khurana will feature in “Stree 2” alongside Shraddha Kapoor, currently in production. Paresh Rawal is set for three comedy sequels: “Hera Pheri 3,” “Awara Pagal Deewana 2,” and “Welcome to the Jungle.”
