Among the winners, pre-announced this week, is Au Revoir Mon Monde, a French animated film about a man trapped in a giant fish costume, racing through a city as the world faces an apocalyptic meteor shower. The ceremony will reveal the gold, silver, and bronze placements for the winners, all of whom will be eligible to compete at the main Oscars in March 2025. While this 51st Student Academy Awards marks the first complete live award show to be held abroad, segments of the Oscars telecast have previously been broadcast from international locations.
