Johnny Depp to Receive Iconic Lifetime Achievement Award At Rome Film Festival

American star John Christopher Depp II, better known as Johnny Depp will be honoured with the esteemed Liftetime Achievement Award at the Rome Film Festival. Reportedly, the actor is back with his new directorial Modi: Three Days on the Wing of Madness. The Film Festival is slated to take place from October 16th to October 27th this year with numerous big names joining the event.

Johnny is making a comeback to the field of direction once again with Modi, after he helmed his direction with the 1997 film The Brave. Besides the actor seeking the Rome Lifetime Achievement Award, for his spectacular work-history, the event will also feature the screening of his film Modi. As reported by Deadline, the movie Modi: Three Days on The Wing Of Madness, captures a “seventy-two-hour whirlwind in the life of bohemian artist Amedeo Modigliani” and delves into his tumultuous experiences amidst the war-torn setting of Paris in 1916. It also stars French actress Antonia Desplat alongside Riccardo Scamarcio in pivotal roles.
