After Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce in August after two years of marriage to Ben Affleck, a friend of the actor has spoken about how he’s been coping since the breakup.
“He doesn’t care,” a friend of his said during an interview. “He’s so happy to be free right now. She could wear all the revenge dresses in the world, she could show up to the red carpet naked – and he would not blink twice.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez who filed for a divorce re-kindled their love in 2021. However, this time, divorce seemed to be the couple’s last resort for finding peace. The couple announced the news without any prenuptial agreement. Recently the two were seen coming out of the same office building which still is shared by the two. Possible reasons for this encounter was best known to them, while the audience assumed it to be some professional work front.
In a recent interaction with Paula Froelic from News Nation, a close friend expressed that the Batman actor is very casual this time after the divorce. As he further talked about the actress, the friend said “She really wants that Oscar — and to be taken seriously as an actress,” OK! Magazine.
The “On The Floor” singer has officially filed for divorce, as sources previously revealed, following Affleck’s lack of effort to repair their relationship. Another insider shared that Lopez put immense dedication into saving their marriage. According to the source, “She did everything she could to make it work, but it didn’t seem to matter to Ben. As reported, the actress had poured her heart and soul into this relationship, giving it her all. She would have gone to any lengths to keep the marriage intact. She faced criticism, mockery, and doubters who warned her it was a mistake, saying there was a reason it failed the first time.” They continued, “But she refused to believe that — she genuinely believed that love could overcome everything.”
