Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” is setting new records at the box office and rewriting history for the actor. The movie is directed by Atlee Kumar, known for his blockbuster movies like “Theri” (2016), “Mersal” (2017), and “Bigil” (2019). In “Jawan,” Shah Rukh plays a double role, and the film features high-action sequences.

During an interview with Aaj Tak, Prashant Walde, who is playing SRK’s body double, revealed how dedicated and punctual the director of the movie is. He mentioned that one day, while stuck in traffic due to former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s convoy passing through the area, he saw something surprising. Prashant recalled, “I was stuck in traffic when I saw Atlee sir walking past my car in a hurry. I offered him a ride, but he declined, insisting that the call time was 6 p.m., and he didn’t want to be late.”

Prashant also praised Atlee’s management of a crowd of 1500 people during the shoot. He said, “When I learned that Atlee, the director of the film, had offered me ‘Jawan,’ I was thrilled. Since we shot the teaser, I had a feeling that this film would perform even better than ‘Pathaan.’ This sentiment was shared not just by me but by the entire crew of around 1500 people; we all believed this film would do wonders.”

The movie also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, and Aaliyah Qureshi, who form the women’s squad supporting Shah Rukh Khan, alongside Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. “Jawan” is described as a high-octane thriller outlining the story of a man on a mission to right the wrongs of society.
