‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ Going “OFF AIR”, But There’s Good News!

Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma starrer Netflix comedy show, "The Great Kapil Show" will be going off air very soon.

The inaugural season of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is nearing its conclusion. Archana Puran Singh surprised everyone by sharing a photo of a cake from the show’s set on Thursday, May 2, marking the wrap-up of the season.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Archana Puran Singh confirmed that ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ is set to go off-air. She stated, “Yes, we have wrapped up the shoot of season one of TGIKS; we shot the last episode of the season yesterday. It was great fun and celebration on the sets. The journey so far on the show has been quite amazing. It was a delightful journey and we had some amazing times on the sets”.

The Great Indian Kapil Show To Come Back With Second Season

However, that’s not it, although the show is going off air, Kiku Sharda who is also a part of the cast has now confirmed that the Netflix comedy show will be “back” with its second season. Kiku revealed that approximately 13 episodes were shot for the first season. And now after the completion of the first season, the show will soon return with the second season. He revealed to News18, “There won’t be a very huge gap”.

Talking about the Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show featured guests and celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni in the first episode. The second episode featured Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer.

The 3rd episode featured Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The fourth episode saw Vicky Kaushal and Sunny Kaushal. The fifth and the most recent episode featured Aamir Khan. Meanwhile, the upcoming episode will feature Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol.
