Here’s Why Kareena Kapoor Walked Out Of Yash Starrer “Toxic”

As per the latest reports it is now confirmed that the Bollywood actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan has left Yash's upcoming film, Toxic.

Toxic: Yash, an esteemed actor in the industry, rose to prominence with his stellar performance in the film KGF. Since then, he has garnered immense popularity among audiences. Presently, Yash is busy with multiple projects lined up, including Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana and the sequel to KGF, titled Toxic.

Toxic, particularly, has been making waves for its gripping gangster action narrative. Initially, there were talks of Bollywood’s beloved Bebo, Kareena Kapoor, joining the cast. However, according to recent updates, Kareena is no longer associated with the project.

Why Kareena Kapoor Rejected Yash Starrer Toxic?

Previously, Pinkvilla reported that Kareena was slated to play the role of Yash’s sister in the film. However, due to scheduling conflicts, Kareena opted out of the project. The report stated, “The makers tried their best to get Kareena on board for the sister role, but the actress’s dates didn’t align with that of the Sandalwood star. Hence, Kareena exited the project, and the decision was an amicable one”.

The report revealed, “Toxic has a strong sibling emotion, and the part of the sister is very crucial to the narrative, warranting the presence of a top star. The makers are looking to cast actresses with Pan India presence for the part.”

Kiara Advani Finalised For Toxic?

Following Kareena’s departure, the film’s creators engaged in discussions with various actors to fill the role. Given the sister’s crucial emotional portrayal in the storyline, the team aimed to cast an actress with a significant fan base across the nation. According to a source close to the portal, Kiara Advani has been finalized to star alongside Yash in the movie. However, there’s no official confirmation about the same.
