While in a recent interview the actor has now confirmed Shah Rukh Khan’s cameo in his film. He said, “Well Shah Rukh is a friend and I told him that I needed someone who can represent what Elvis represented in America.”
Aamir Khan Confirms Shah Rukh’s Cameo In Laal Singh Chaddha
Speaking with Alexandra, the actor revealed that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in a cameo in his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir said, “Well Shah Rukh is a friend and I told him that I needed someone who can represent what Elvis (Presley) represented in America. I need the biggest iconic star of India, which is why I am coming to you’. He was really sweet and he said, ‘Yes’.”
Meanwhile, as per an Etimes report, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor Aamir Khan was recently spotted at Shah Rukh’s house, as per the reports the two chatted for quite some time and saw the film (Laal Singh Chaddha).
Meanwhile, this topic was earlier raised by one of Shah Rukh’s fans during his Ask Me Anything session on Twitter, where a fan questioned Shah Rukh, “Laal Singh Chaddha dekhi?” Responding to which Shah Rukh wrote, “Arre yaar Aamir kehta hai pehle Pathaan dikha!! #Pathaan”.
Amidst the boycott trends, the decision of bringing Shah Rukh could work in the favor of the film, as Shah Rukh himself has a massive fan base in the Bollywood industry and the fans will also want to watch the duo on screen together. The two have previously shared screen space in Ashutosh Gowariker’s directorial debut Pehla Nasha.
Laal Singh Chaddha is an official adaptation of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump featuring Tom Hanks. The comedy-drama film also stars Kareena Kapoor and marks the Bollywood debut of Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya. In the last few months, the movie has been trending for various reasons including the boycott trend. These aspects may help in some way to make business at the box office.

The film is helmed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. Laal Singh Chaddha will lock horns with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan on 11th August.
