MetGala2024: Priyanka Chopra has officially announced that she won’t be attending this year’s Met Gala, one of the most prominent fashion events. During an interview with Access Hollywood, while promoting the new documentary film “Tiger,” where she serves as the narrator, she disclosed that her absence is due to her ongoing filming commitments.
When asked about her anticipation for this year’s Met Gala and if there’s anyone she’s particularly looking forward to seeing, Priyanka responded during the interview and said, “I don’t even know who’s going this year. I’m definitely not attending this year because I’m filming, but I think I really do enjoy watching people’s creativity during the Met Gala and I am really excited to see how it will turn out. I actually have not read anything about who all is going this year.”
Upon learning that Zendaya, the actor from “Euphoria,” will indeed be attending the event, Priyanka remarked during the conversation, “She’s amazing, so we definitely look forward to her.”
About Met Gala 2024
Scheduled for Monday, May 6, the 2024 Met Gala will be hosted at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This event serves as the opening for the Costume Institute’s exhibition titled “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.” The theme for this year’s gala is “The Garden of Time,” with Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth as the co-chairs.
