Salaar Box Office Scam Trends, Netizens Accuse Makers Of ‘Fake’ BO Figures!

A segment of netizens have come out and accused the makers of Salaar for manipulating and faking the box office figures of the film.

Prashanth Neel’s Salaar has been creating buzz on the internet. Salaar which registered a humongous opening at the box office beating SRK’s Dunki, is now being accused of “fake box office collection” in order to overshadow Dunki. Recently, the hashtag “Salaar Box Office Scam” started trending on X (Formerly known as Twitter) in which several netizens accused the makers of faking and manipulating the box office collection of their film, Salaar.

For the unversed, Salaar was released a day after SRK’s film Dunki. Ever since the release dates of the films were announced there has been much anticipation among the fans over the clash. While many expected SRK’s Dunki to have an edge over Prabhas’ Salaar, things went completely South after Prabhas registered an opening almost 3 times bigger than Dunki’s.

Following the same, a segment of netizens have now come out and revealed that the makers of the Telugu film, Salaar have been manipulating and faking the box office figures of their film in order to outshine Rajkumar Hirani’s film, Dunki.

The controversy gained momentum after the makers were accused of manipulating and inflating the box office figures of Salaar by almost ₹100 crore. It started after an official poster of the film revealed the film making ₹402 crore within three days. However, many reports and trade experts revealed that the actual figures of the film were somewhere between ₹304 crore.

Commenting on the same a user tweeted, “Even YouTubers are covering this issue #SalaarScam#Salaar sees a jump of 500% advance that too on a working day which is makes us question if all the collection is fake This fake collections thing happened with Sahoo, RadheShyam and Adipurush too”.
