Shark Tank India judge Vineeta Singh addressed rumors of her death on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday. The entrepreneur posted a screenshot of a report stating, “A hard day for India: We say goodbye to Vineeta Singh.” Vineeta refuted the claim, noting that rumors about her death or arrest have persisted for five weeks. Despite filing a complaint with the Mumbai Crime Branch, the spread of false news about her death has not ceased.

Serial entrepreneur and Shark Tank India judge Vineeta Singh refuted rumors of her death on social media. Denouncing the misinformation that has persisted for weeks, the Sugar Cosmetics CEO shared a screenshot of misleading reports. Despite efforts to counter the spread of falsehoods, including lodging a complaint with the Mumbai Crime Branch and reporting to Meta and the Mumbai Cyber Police, the rumors have persisted. Singh expressed frustration with the false reports and the impact on her family, seeking suggestions from netizens on handling the situation.

Taking to her X handle Vineeta wrote, “Been dealing with paid PR about my death and my arrest for 5 weeks. Ignored it at first, then reported to Meta several times, and filed a complaint with Mumbai Police but it’s not stopping. The hardest part is when folks panic and call my mom. Few of the posts are below. Any suggestions?”

Shark Tank India 2 premiered in January 2024, featuring familiar sharks from previous seasons such as Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Peyush Bansal, and Anupam Mittal.
