Directed by Prashanth Neel, the Telugu film, Salaar has been grabbing the headlines for a long time. The much-anticipated film will be released this month on 22 December, and the fans just can’t wait. Meanwhile, amidst the buzz, it is now reported that the KGF actor Yash will be having a special cameo role in the film.
As per India Today, singer Theertha Subhash recently by mistake mentioned the presence of KGF actor Yash in Salaar. During a media interaction, Theertha Subhash accidentally referred to Yash’s cameo in the upcoming film. However, soon after the news went viral she swiftly clarified the rumors and stated that it was just a mistake.
Clarifying the rumors she took to her Instagram handle and wrote, “I have seen the KGF movie many times. When the opportunity arose, my father had said that Salar’s music and stuff was the KGF team. So I had in my mind that Yash uncle will also be in Salar. It was in that one seat that the bait said. I said it wrong and left.”
On the other hand, according to the latest reports, the film was given the “A” certificate after it was submitted to the Central Board of Certification (CBFC). Following the censor board test the film was given the adult certificate with a runtime of 2 hours, 55 minutes. Apart from this, Salaar will also be having a direct clash with SRK’s Dunki at the box office.

Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film will hit the theatres on December 22, 2023, and will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
