Gaami Box Office Verdict: Telugu Film “Hit Or Flop”?

Vishwak Sen starrer Telugu adventure drama, "Gaami" has crossed the 10cr mark domestically and 20cr mark globally at the box office.

Directed by Vidyadhar Kagita “Gaami” is a Telugu adventure film starring Vishwak Sen, Chandini Chowdary, and Abhinaya in lead roles.. After much anticipation, the film was released in theatres on March 8. The Telugu film opened up to positive responses from moviegoers and critics. Following the good response, the film secured a successful opening at the box office. Now that the film has almost finished its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Gaami Box Office Collection Day 6

As per Sacnilk.com, Vishwak Sen starrer Telugu adventure drama, “Gaami” earned approx. ₹ 4 Cr on its opening day (first day) at the box office. Instead of seeing growth during the weekend, the film witnessed a drop during the weekend. Gaami earned ₹ 3 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 1.91 Cr on Sunday.

The film further dropped over the weekdays. Gaami earned ₹75 Lakhs on Monday, ₹68 Lakhs on Tuesday, and ₹53 Lakhs on Wednesday. The film currently stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 11.23 Cr meanwhile, the movie has reportedly crossed the 20 Crore mark at the worldwide box office.

Gaami: Hit Or Flop?

“Gaami” started with a decent opening day earning of ₹4 Cr, but struggled thereafter. Despite crossing ₹20 Crore worldwide, the film’s declining numbers over the weekend (Sat-Sun) and weekdays (Mon-Fri) indicate it’s a box office “flop”, failing to generate sustained audience interest and falling short of achieving significant commercial success.

Gaami Story/Plot

“Gaami” follows the story of a man named, Shankar, an orphaned Aghora, embarking on an adventurous quest to find Maali leaves, a remedy for his disorder. These leaves surface on Earth once every 36 years, offering him a singular opportunity to change his life. His journey commences towards the Dronagiri mountain in the Himalayas.
