Fake photographs featuring celebrities like Katy Perry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, and Selena Gomez at the Met Gala 2024 gained widespread attention on social media. Now, a picture of Indian actor Nitanshi Goel, known for portraying Phool in Kiran Rao’s ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ has emerged from the Met Gala, circulating across the internet.
In addition to Alia Bhatt, Nitanshi Goel, known for her role in ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ also left an impression on the Met Gala red carpet. Aamir Khan Productions’ official X handle posted an edited image of the 17-year-old actor portraying her character Phool from the recent film.
In the edited image, Nitanshi, known for her role as a bride in ‘Laapataa Ladies,’ was featured in a similar appearance on the red carpet. She donned a plain red saree, accompanied by a maroon shawl elegantly draped over her shoulders, and adorned with a matching bindi on her forehead. The pallu of her saree was fashioned into a long veil.
Sharing the edited picture, the production house wrote, “Our Phool blossoming in the garden of time. Watch #LaapataaLadies on @NetflixIndia now (sic).” See the pic here!
For those unfamiliar, Nitanshi portrayed Phool, a young bride who becomes lost, in “Laapataa Ladies”. The film revolves around two young brides who become separated during a train journey and explores the consequences when Ravi Kishan, a police officer, takes on the task of investigating the missing case. It is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
