Aamir Khan To Celebrate 25 Years Of ‘Sarfarosh’ With A Special Screening 

Aamir Khan's Sarfarosh completed 25 years of its release on April 30, and on May 10, the entire team will celebrate it with a small get-together and a special screening of the film. 

Aamir Khan is one of the versatile actors in the industry, and he is known for his many legendary creations, like ‘Lagaan’, ‘Sarfarosh’ and others. Sarfarosh, starring Sonali Bendre alongside Aamir, completed the 25 years of its release on April 30th. This movie, released in the year 1999, was a box-office hit and also received critical appreciation. To celebrate the silver jubilee of the film, there will be a special screening of the film commencing on May 10. 

The special screening of Sarfarosh will be held in Mumbai at Juhu PVR and the entire team will try to attend the event, which includes Aamir Khan, Sonali Bendre, director John Matthew Matthan, Naseeruddin Shah, music director Lalit Pandit, Mukesh Rishi, Makarad Deshpandey, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Naseeruddin Shah and many others. 

The film is about cross-border terrorism and patriotism as a young guy leaves his medical education to join the police force as revenge for his brother’s death. It is one of those movies which is appreciated by many and previous generation tells the next generation to watch it. 

In a recent conversation with the Indian Express, director of the film John Matthew talked about the sequel of the movie. He said that he wasn’t enjoying the process of filmmaking and hence he quit after making certain movies. But now the director wishes to make his comeback through Sarfarosh 2. And he also shed light on the small get-together the team will organize to celebrate the silver jubilee.
