Rajinikanth Takes Home Big Cheque From Jailer Profits
On August 31, the CEO of Sun Pictures, Kalanithi Maran met the superstar Rajinikanth at his home in Chennai and handed him a cheque and bouquet for the phenomenal success of the film “Jailer”. Sharing the pictures on Twitter, Sun Pictures wrote, “Mr. Kalanithi Maran met Superstar @rajinikanth and handed over a cheque, celebrating the historic success of #Jailer.”

Meanwhile, now it is being reported that the Tamil megastar, Rajinikanth has bagged 100cr from the profits of Jailer. Sharing the news, film trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan claimed that the actor has been given ₹110 cr from Jailer’s profits and has now become the highest paid actor in India.
He wrote, “Info coming in that, the envelope handed over by Kalanithi Maran to superstar #rajinikanth contains a single cheque amounting ₹cr from City Union Bank, Mandaveli branch, Chennai. This is a #Jailerprofit sharing cheque which is up & above the already paid remuneration[₹110 cr] of superstar for the movie. Total – ₹ 210 cr Making superstar Rajinikanth the highest paid actor in India“.

Jailer Box Office Collection
On the other hand, the film has now successfully entered the 600cr club with its global box office collection in 18 days. As per the trade reports, the film crossed the 600cr mark on last Sunday, while the film domestically stands at a total of ₹ 328.20 Cr.

Rajinikanth’s Jailer has become one of the highest-grossing Tamil films. The film received extremely positive reactions from domestic and foreign audiences.
