Jailer: Nelson Dilipkumar’s directorial, “Jailer” has become of the highest grossing Tamil films. Starring Rajinikanth the film was released in theatres on 10th August. And after ruling the box office for weeks, the film has now reportedly signed deal with OTT platform Netflix.
Rajinikanth’s Jailer OTT Release
As per a Bollywood Life report, Rajinikanth starrer “Jailer” has now sealed the deal with streaming giant Netflix. The digital right of the film has reportedly been sold for a whopping 100cr to the streaming giant. Meanwhile the release date of the film is yet to be set, many reports have however claimed that the Tamil blockbuster will be released on OTT on 7th September.

Jailer Box Office Collection: Film Crosses 600cr Mark
On the other hand, the film has now successfully entered the 600cr club with its global box office collection in 18 days. As per the trade reports, the film crossed the 600cr mark on Sunday, while the film domestically stands on a total of ₹315.95 crore.
Sharing the news, trade analyst Manobala tweeted, “#Jailer WW Box Office #600CrJailer – HOUSE FULL shows even on 3rd Sunday helps the film to go past the magical ₹600 cr mark on the 18th day. ||#Rajinikanth #ShivaRajKumar | #Mohanlal|| #2Point0 was the FIRST film to enter this club from Tamil Cinema on the 10th day of its run. Rajinikanth’s Jailer has become one of the highest-grossing Tamil films. The film received extremely positive reactions from domestic and foreign audiences. The film also crossed the records of Rajinikanth’s film 2.0. The film also beat Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan at the box office.
