Protestors Interrupt Siddharth’s Press Conference For Film Chithha, Actor Leaves Midway

Actor Siddharth was recently forced to leave his press conference for film, Chithha in Bengaluru after group of protestors interrupted the event.

South actor Siddharth was recently forced to leave his press conference for his film, Chithha in Bengaluru after members of a pro-Kannada group interrupted the event at the city’s SRV theatre in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The video is now making rounds on the internet.

Protestors Interrupt Siddharth’s Press Conference For Film Chithha

Recently a few members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Swabhimani Sene interrupted the ongoing press conference that was held by South actor Siddharth for his recently released film, Chikku. The protestors of the pro-Kannada group barged in and disrupted the event further demanding the actor, Siddharth to leave the venue.

Apparently, the members of the group claimed that it wasn’t right, and the time wasn’t appropriate for Siddharth to hold the press conference for his film, as Tamil Nadu is demanding Cauvery River water from Karnataka. Following the chaos and protest actor Siddharth was then forced to leave his conference mid-way. Watch video-

Reacting to the video a user tweeted, “Why are they questioning him instead of the elected officials ? #Siddharth handled it well”, another tweeted, “Utterly disgraceful! Feel for the man!”. One tweeted, “These are unemployed, useless ppl who don’t have any purpose in life. The only way sm1 can notice them is by doing this drama in the guise of raising a non issue.”

Actor Prakash Raj also took to Twitter and shared his reaction on the issue as he apologised to Siddharth, he wrote, “Instead of questioning all the political parties and its leaders for failing to solve this decades’ old issue…. Instead of questioning the useless parliamentarians who are not pressurising the centre to intervene.. Troubling the common man and artists like this can not be accepted.. as a Kannadiga .. on behalf of Kannadigas. sorry #Siddharth #justasking.”

Siddharth’s Film Chithha

Chithha is a Tamil drama film directed by SU Arun Kumar. The film is touted to be an intense family drama about a man who is on a mission to find his lost niece. Siddharth essays the role of the uncle in the movie. The film hit theatres on September 28. The film also produced by Siddharth himself under his banner Etaki Entertainment.
