SalaarVsDunki: It is confirmed! Prabhas starrer Salaar and Bollwyood actor Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki will be facing off each other at the box office soon. Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire which was earlier expected to be released in the theatres in September is now all set to hit the theatres on 22nd December, 2023.

On Friday, the makers finally announced the official release date of the much-anticipated Telugu action thriller film, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. Production house, Homable films made the announcement on Twitter and wrote, “Coming Bloody Soon! #SalaarCeaseFire Worldwide Release On Dec 22, 2023.”
For the unversed, Prashanth Neel’s “Salaar” was earlier expected to release in the theatres on September 2023. However, the makers postponed the release date, while the reason behind it still remains unbeknownst to all. And with its release date set for 22 December 2023, Salaar will now be seeing a direct clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s much-awaited film, Dunki which is also set for a theatrical release on the same day.
While many fans are rooting for Baahubali actor Prabhas a huge segment of fans on social media are also supporting Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for his much-anticipated film, Dunki. It would be interesting to see which film sails and wins at the box office this December.
Salaar will be Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. On the other hand, Dunki will be an upcoming comedy-drama film by Rajkumar Hirani featuring Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Taapsee Pannu.

Shah Rukh Khan made his comeback in 2023 with his two major blockbuster films Pathaan and Jawan which also became the two highest grossers of 2023. Shah Rukh Khan will soon be appearing again in theatres with Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. The film also marks the first ever collaboration of the famous actor and filmmaker. And with recent blockbuster hits like Jawan and Pathaan there’s a high possibility that “Dunki” will recreate the magic on screens for the SRK’s fans.

Prabhas was last seen in Om Raut’s directorial Adipurush which unfortunately failed to impress the viewers. Prabhas will now be seen in Prashanth Neel’s Salaar. He also has Kalki 2898 AD featuring Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani and Dulquer Salmaan.
