Ravindra Berde, a prominent name in the Marathi film industry, has made his place in Bollywood within a few roles. “Singham” actor Ravindra Berde died on December 13 at the age of 78. This actor had been fighting with cancer for many years. News of his demise has made everyone sad, including the Bollywood film industry.

Ravindra Berde was the brother of “Hum Aapke Hain Koun” actor Laxmikant Berde. Ravindra Berde worked in many Marathi movies, and he was a prominent face in the Marathi film industry. He has done 31 Marathi plays and many Marathi movies like “Hamal De Dhamal,” “Gammat Jammat,” “Dhadakebaaz,” “Changu Mangu,” and many more. He was quite famous for performing negative roles, but at the same time, he played sweet, innocent characters too.
People connected to Marathi Play take Ravindra Berde’s name with due respect. The one Marathi play named “Shantech Karta” was famous as he and his brother Laxmikanth Berde worked together, giving hilarious experiences to the audience.
He didn’t stop with the popularity and success he gained on the Marathi platform. He continued exploring many things, and the Bollywood industry is one of them. He had played prominent roles in the Hindi movies “Singham” and “Nayak: The Real Hero.” In Singham, he played the role of Jamindaar Chandrakant, and in Nayak, he played role of Balraj Chauhan’s party supporter.
Later on, he couldn’t work in acting films as his body didn’t cooperate with him much. In 2011, this actor was diagnosed with throat cancer, and since then, he lagged behind in his work. He was taking treatment at the Tata Hospital in Mumbai. But unfortunately, he lost his life at the age of 78, leaving a long legacy behind.
