Pahlaj Nihalani is on fire as he reveals some sensational details about the Censor Board functioning and Ministry’s meddling in an Exclusive and Explosive interview to Bharathi Pradhan, Lehren TV. The controversies that started with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Udta Punjab’ continued till Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Indu Sarkar’. Nihalani was replaced by Writer and Lyricist Prasoon Joshi.

“The only call I got from Smriti Irani (as I & B Minister) was when she called to ask me why I wasn’t passing Indu Sarkar,” says Pahlaj Nihalani in an explosive exclusive to Bharathi S Pradhan & Lehren. “To this day I haven’t been officially told by the minister that I’ve been replaced. I think I was thrown out because of Indu Sarkar!”

Intriguing that he was never officially told by the I & B Ministry that he had been sacked. In fact, he was doing his work of certifying a slew of films (including Bareilly Ki Barfi so that it got released on time) at the CBFC office when he got to know about it from the media. In fact, to this day, nobody from the ministry has communicated the news of his removal to him!

While we cannot deny the fact that almost all the films suffered the cut of his censor scissors, with all these revelations from the former chief many details came forward which was not known to the world till date. We are sure many unanswered questions were answered with this interview.

Wardrobe Malfunctions are pretty much common in B-town. Time and again we have seen a lot of actors and actress’ suffer it and still be all okay with it. Something similar happened with Katrina Kaif recently at the press conference of IIFA awards 2017 recently. Katrina Kaif wore an orange coloured short dress with a plunging neckline.

The neckline, however, was a bit too plunging and led to Katrina revealing a little more than she should. So what happened then? Well, very soon we had Salman Bhai to the rescue. Yes, the Bhaijaan jumped into protecting his ex-girlfriend from being snapped in an awkward situation. As soon as Salman Khan saw Katrina Kaif’s awkward neckline, he actioned her to cover it up, however, seemed like Katrina Kaif was not so seen keen to cover it up as she was seen telling something about it to Salman Khan and soon the two burst into laughter.

Also, it can be said that while Katrina may have chosen one of the sultriest outfits, it was definitely not the most comfortable one! We all know the amount of craze Shahid and Kareena have for fitness. Even when the two were dating, they have been spotted many times going to the gym together and in indulging in some fitness worthy activity. Recently our paps were successful enough to capture both Shahid and Kareena at the same gym and at the same time. And if that was not enough, then also spotted along with Shahid was his wife Mira. Now this looks like an interesting situation, doesn’t it? So wondering how can we say that all three were at the same place and at the same time? Well, from the pictures one can easily make out that the place is same, however, when we talk about the time, you will have to look at the pictures a little more carefully. In the pictures if you notice both Shahid and Kareena are seen at a time when their shadows are being reflected, making it very clear that the time they went to gym and the sun was scorching right above both of them was somewhere between 11:30 Am to 12:30 Pm, making it pretty evident that the two went to gym together. So, rightfully enough after this can we conclude that Shahid is stalking Kareena at least for her fitness regime? When Mira Rajput came to know about it, even she accompanied him to the gym. So was it really for the gym or to keep an eye on your husband Mira? Well, we have to say it’s a really good move Mira, but you sure have to trust your husband a little more!

Meena Kumari : The recent news of Pakeezah actress Geeta Kapoor being abandoned by her family at a hospital, left everyone shocked. But this is not the first time a once Bollywood star has become a sorry state of herself in her last days. Here are some other Bollywood stars who tragically faded into oblivion:

Geeta Kapoor: Geeta Kapoor’s fate was shared by her Pakeezah co-star – the tragedy queen Meena Kumari. Meena had turned alcoholic after her divorce from Kamal Amrohi. She died all alone just a few weeks after her movie Pakeezah released in the theatres with no money to pay for her treatment.

Parveen Babi: One of the most glamorous actresses of the 1970s, Parveen suffered from mental illness in her last days. Her body was found a whole 3 days after her death in 2005. Doctors speculated that she may even have starved herself to death as there was no trace of food in her stomach.

Bhagwan Dada: The Albela star who was widely popular for his dance moves, was forced to sell his fleet of 7 cars and 25 bedroom Juhu bungalow after a string of flops. He died as a poor man in a dingy chawl in 2002, virtually forgotten by all.

AK Hangal: The much loved Rahim Chacha of Sholay lived upto the age of 97, but he too passed away in a hospital without money for his treatment in 2012.

Achala Sachdev: The pleasant face from ‘O Meri Zohrajabi’ was left in a hospital without any attendants. Even her own son and daughter refused to visit her during her last days.

Bharat Bhushan: The star of the golden jubilee hit Baiju Bawra, Bharat Bhushan fell out of demand with the coming of color films. Financial crisis forced him to sell his cars as well as a collection of rare books towards the end of his life.

Nalini Jaywant:  One of the biggest stars of 1940s, Nalini Jaywant had been dead three days before anyone knew about it. She was the aunt of Tanuja and Nutan.

Geetanjali Nagpal : Geetanjali was one of the top models in the 90s, but was found begging on streets of Delhi. She was later admitted to a psychiatric ward of a hospital.

So, this list of celebrities shows that Bollywood stars, who more often than not got their happy endings in their movies, were all not as fortunate in real life.

Raj Kiran: The actor known for making the song ‘tum itna jo muskura rahe ho’ was left in a state of depression after his family abandoned him. Though Rishi Kapoor had told the media that he was in a mental asylum in US, Kiran’s family has insisted that he is still missing.

Recently in a press meet, Kiran Rao in a lieu to justify Fatima said “We don’t deal with casting. Aamir, Adi and Victor decided the casting so they must have given it a good thought because it’s a big film. There has to be merit or else they wouldn’t take a risk with such a big film,” Our question here to Kiran Rao is why do you have to justify Fatima Sana Shaikh? Why do you have to come out and explain her stand? What makes you do so? Maybe it wasn’t Aamir Khan who recommended her, but even if it is so, why do you need to come out in open and talk about it? Is it the insecurities because of the rumors doing rounds? Well, all this can be answered only by her.

Moreover, even when you go back to her statement, you will very easily realise that the first line itself is very contradictory with the second line. While initially Kiran is seen saying that ‘we’ are not involved in the casting, in the very next line she is also seen declaring of how ‘Aamir, Adi and Victor’ are the ones who do casting. So who does the ‘we’ refer to over here dear Kiran? Maybe you need to stop lying to yourself and at least if nothing, then get answers for yourself! Especially in a condition when you yourself are not clear of the entire situation.

Not to forget the rumours of Adi wanting to cast Vaani Kapoor in ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ were doing rife! It was also being said that it was Aamir Khan who suggested Fatima Sana Shaikh’s name and made sure she was bought on board. So which of this is true, or which of this shall we agree to?
