Bollywood filmmaker Nikkhil Advani, known for helming movies like Kal Ho Naa Ho, D-Day, Batla House, Vedaa, has always had an interesting journey in Bollywood. While some of his films became cult classics over time, others struggled at the box office. One such film was Salaam-e-Ishq (2007), a multi-starrer featuring Hindi film industry’s superstars like Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Govinda, Priyanka Chopra, John Abraham, Juhi Chawla, and Akshaye Khanna. Despite its star-studded cast, the film failed commercially. After which Salman Khan was disappointed with Nikkhil Advani? and if that was the reason they never collaborated again – except for the 2015 film Hero, which Salman produced and even lent his voice to for the song Main Hoon Hero Tera.

During a recent interview promo shared by Lehren Retro, the director was asked if Salman was upset over Salaam-e-Ishq’s failure and whether that impacted their professional relationship. Addressing the speculation, Nikkhil Advani clarified that they still share a good friendship despite not working together in recent years.

“We’re still very good friends. He calls me, asks me to come over for a drink, invites me to the farm… I go!” Nikkhil said. When the interviewer pointed out that their interactions only seem to extend to casual meetings, Nikkhil promptly responded, “Mujhe film nahi banani hai! (I don’t want to make a film!).” His candid reaction left room for interpretation, raising curiosity about whether he genuinely has no interest in collaborating with Salman Khan again.

Meanwhile, in a recent conversation with Mashable India, Nikkhil Advani recalled an anecdote from the sets of Salaam-E-Ishq, revealing that Bollywood’s Bhaijaan refused to shoot early in the morning. As a result, the team had to stay awake all night. He shared, “We kept Salman awake for the whole night because he said that I can’t come at 5 in the morning. ‘Either sit with me and I will go to sleep straight at 10 AM’! So, we stayed awake, took him, shot, finished shooting and then he went to sleep. For me, it has always been about finishing the day quickly.”

For now, Nikkhil is busy juggling multiple projects. He is producing Satyameva Jayate 3 and working on Delhi Safari 2, an upcoming Hindi-language animated musical comedy. On the other hand, Salman Khan is gearing up for Sikandar, where he will star alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sharman Joshi. He was last seen in Tiger 3.

Ranveer Allahabadia has released an apology video, after facing immense criticism and backlash over his “vulgar” remarks on the youtube show “India’s Got Latent”. The youtuber, and renowned podcaster recently appeared on the youtube show, as a judge/guest, and was seen passing ‘insensitive’ statements about the contestants. Viewers were stunned after his dark humor, as they did not expect him to blend in with other dank standup comedians like Samay Raina to crack up the show’s format.

Ranveer Allahabadia Issues An Apology: Comedy Is Not My Forte

Following it all, Ranveer has now dropped a video, apologising to the viewers. He accepted that his comment was inappropriat, and that comedy is just not his forte. The 31-year-old podcaster stated in his video that “he had a lapse in judgement” and that he is “learning from this experience”.

“I personally had a lapse of judgment, wasn’t cool on my part. The podcast is watched by people of all ages, don’t want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly and family is the last thing that I would ever disrespect,” he expressed further.

He also acknowledged the need for accountability, stating that he has asked the makers of the show to remove the insensitive sections from the video. “I promise to just get better, have asked the makers of the video to remove the insensitive sections from the video. All I can say in the end is I am Sorry. I hope you forgive me as a human being.”

Now that an F.I.R has been filed against the youtuber, and podcaster – it is awaited if any action will be taken after this apology video. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has also reacted to this ill-fated scenario, where Allahabadia was seen passing such a filthy remark, to blend in with the show’s comic format.

In a latest interaction with Times Of India, Saif revealed that his mother, the iconic Sharmila Tagore, immediately traveled from Delhi to Mumbai as soon as she learned what had happened with his son. Serving as a source of strength, she visited Saif every day while he was in the hospital. He recalled how his mother provided the comfort he needed, during this tough period by singing him lullabies, just as she had done in his childhood.

He described how Sharmila Tagore was completely soft towards him, but appeared strict to everyone else around the surgery area, inside the hospital. This was to ensure that no secondary infection emerges at that moment. He said, “The doctors were worried that there shouldn’t be any secondary infection. So she was making sure everyone wore a mask, including the doctors. So there was a bit of fear of the mother. But, she was also very nice. She held my hand and sang me a song, and it was very soothing.”

Also about the kids, while Taimur accomapnied him and the younger kid Jeh, was sent to Karisma’s house with Kareena Kapoor Khan- his other kids with Amrita, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim were very emotional. The Pataudi son and powerful bollywood star Saif Ali Khan faced a tough time recently when an unexepcted attack on his house took place. Saif Ali Khan witnessed near-to-death experience when an intruder robbed into his house, and constantly stabbed him with a sharp knife inside his home. However, despite suffering severe injuries, multiple surgeries and a tough battle with life – Saif had to go through enough scrutiny on his attack. People all over were seen raising eyebrows on his discharge for he came out only within 5-6 days after the stabbing took place. Finally, after a long-short period of silence, the injured Nawab decided to come out on the public scrutiny and shared the incidents as they happened on the dreadful night.

Saif Ali Khan Reacts On Being Grilled For Security Carelessness

. Post the attack, public asked how the security of such a renowned celebrity was a failure. How the cameras were not located, and why was there not security guard and bodyguards around him or his house. Reacting to the same, Saif Ali Khan has now said that he never believed into securities, and he is adamant to “not keep one” even after facing the heinous attack.

“People were saying, ‘Why don’t they have more security?’. I’ve never believed in security. I don’t want it. I never wanted to walk around with three of these guys, and I think it would be a nightmare for me. And I still won’t, because I don’t
think this is an attack on me. I’m not under threat”, Saif mentioned. He also confessed that he finds Mumbai way too safe as a city to live in, and probably what the attacker did was just a “mistake”.

Soon after the actor was discharged after the attack, actor Ronit Roy’s agency was said to be hired to guard Saif Ali Khan hereafter. It was reported that Ronit Roy’s Ace Security and Protection, also known as AceSqad Security LLP would look after Saif Ali Khan’s safety. The agency has previously guarded stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan among others. As Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the Lilavati Hospital, Ronit Roy was seen speaking to police personnel outside Saif’s Bandra home.

However, what Saif Ali Khan said was that he does not fear that anything would change after this attack in his life, and neither does he want to see any change. He says, ““It’s not going to change my life and it shouldn’t, because that would be… it would be wrong because, I mean, this is not one of those scenarios. This is somebody who is trying to steal something because of desperation,”.

Khesari Lal Yadav Rishtey First Look Out: भोजपुरी सिनेमा के सुपरस्टार खेसारीलाल यादव और मशहूर अभिनेत्री रति पांडेय स्टारर एसआरके म्यूजिक प्रा. लि. के बैनर तले बनी बहुप्रतीक्षित फिल्म ‘रिश्ते’ का फर्स्ट लुक जारी कर दिया गया है। इस फिल्म का निर्माण शर्मिला आर. सिंह द्वारा किया गया है, और इसकी प्रस्तुति रौशन सिंह ने की है। वहीं, फिल्म का निर्देशन प्रेमांशु सिंह ने किया है। फिल्म 14 मार्च को सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज होने वाली है। फिल्म के फर्स्ट लुक पोस्टर में खेसारीलाल यादव बेहद दमदार अवतार में नजर आ रहे हैं। उन्होंने ब्लू कलर का कोट पहना है, जो उनके एक अलग अंदाज को दर्शा रहा है। उनके पीछे चार लोग धोती और सफेद गमछे में नजर आ रहे हैं, जो फिल्म की कहानी को लेकर काफी दिलचस्प संकेत दे रहे हैं। इस लुक में भी निर्माता शर्मिला आर. सिंह की खास छाप देखने को मिल रही है। इससे पहले इसी बैनर से आई फिल्म ‘रंग दे बसंती’ ने दर्शकों का खूब मनोरंजन किया था, और अब ‘रिश्ते’ भी कुछ नया और अनोखा लेकर आ रही है।

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has weighed in on the controversy surrounding YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia over remarks he made on Samay Raina’s show ‘India’s Got Lalent’. CM Fadnavis stated that while he has not personally watched the video but he has been informed about this viral content. He emphasized that while freedom of speech exists, but it should not infringe upon the rights of others and further hints at action, will he call out the podcast?

CM Devendra Fadnavis Will Take Action on Ranveer Allahbadia?

While speaking with reporters, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said, ““I have come to know about it. I have not seen it yet. Things have been said and presented in a wrong way. Everyone has freedom of speech, but our freedom ends when we encroach upon the freedom of others. In our society, we have made some rules, and if someone violates them, it is absolutely wrong and action should be taken against them,” he noted, in the video shared by ANI on social media.

Following public outrage, the Mumbai Police visited the location where the show was filmed and initiated an inquiry.

What is Ranveer Allahbadia Controversy?

Ranveer Allahbadia popularly known as BeerBiceps caused a stir with his remarks on the show, where he posed in an inappropriate questions to a contestant. A clip from this show has went viral over the internet, sparking criticism from social media users who found the content offensive. Many condemned the remarks as disrespectful and called for strict action against him and the show’s organizers.

Not just the state’s Chief Minsiter but the former National Commission for Women (NCW) chief and Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma also reacted, stating that such content should not be normalized. “Making jokes about a mother or a female’s body doesn’t look good and shows a moral decline in today’s youth. I have forwarded the video to the NCW Chairperson for action,” she said.

Complaints and Police Action

Meanwhile, legal action has been taken after the outrage with lawyers Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra filing complaints against Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina. They accused them of promoting obscenity and using inappropriate language. The complaints were sent to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and the State Women and Child Commission, demanding strict action.

निखिल आडवाणी ने अपने इस इंटरव्यू में अपने करियर के शुरूआती दौर, करण जौहर के साथ दोस्ती और धर्मा प्रोडक्शन, हीरू जौहर और यशराज फिल्म्स के साथ काम करने अनुभवों को शेयर किया है। जिसमें फिल्ममेकर ने करण जौहर और धर्मा प्रोडक्शन को छोड़ना अपनी सबसे बड़ी गलती करार दिया है। अपने इसी इंटरव्यू में निखिल ने धर्मा प्रोडक्शन के बुरे दौर के बारे में बात करते हुए कहा कि अग्निपथ के समय धर्मा प्रोडक्शन की हालत काफी खराब थी। धर्मा प्रोडक्शन की हालत देख करण जौहर की मां हीरू जौहर की हालत खराब हो गई थी। ऐसे में अमिताभ बच्चन ने अग्निपथ के साथ धर्मा की काफी मदद की थी और फिल्म में काम करने के लिए अपने डेट्स आसानी से मुहैया करा दिए थे।

अपनी इसी इंटरव्यू में निखिल ने ये भी खुलासा करते हुए कहा कि उन्होने अपनी शुरूआत शाहरुख खान के साथ फिल्म कल हो ना हो से की थी। उसके बाद सलमान खान के साथ फिल्म बनाई और फिर अक्षय कुमार व जॉन अब्राहम को लेकर वो फिल्में बनाने लगे। सलमान खान के साथ अपने फिल्मी रिश्ते पर निखिल ने कहा कि उनके साथ फिल्म नहीं चली और फिर हमने सलमान खान के प्रोडक्शन की फिल्म हीरो में साथ में काम किया। सलमान खान के साथ वो पार्टी करते हैं, साथ में चाय व ड्रिंक भी करते हैं। उनके साथ दोस्ताना रिश्ते भी हैं लेकिन वो अब कभी सलमान खान को लेकर फिल्म नहीं बनाएंगे।

Stand up comedian Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent has been gaining massive popularity on youtube, over the past two months. However, as much as the show is being praised by fans, it is being equally criticized now. Recently, the latest episode saw guests like comedian Ashish Chanchlani, podcaster Ranveer Allahabadia, Apoorva Mehta and others. While the guests cracked dark humor on the contestants of the show, the reaction of the public did not come out positive. Ever sinc the viral video clips went viral, Ranveer Allahabadia has been receiving huge hate from the internet. People have been constantly sending negative comments and almost cancelled the youtuber for his derogatory remarks on Kerala people, disabled individuals and more.

Amid the constant criticism from the public, a legal case has been finally filed against Ranveer Allahabadia, popularly known as “beerbiceps”. Alongwith him, the complaint was also filed against comedian Samay Raina, influencer Apoorva Makheja, and the organizers of India’s Got Latent. 

According to the reports by Midday, the complaint has already been submitted to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. The complaint alleges the use of objectionable language and demands strict action against the accused. The complaint has been filed by Bombay High Court advocates Ashish Rai and Pankaj Mishra.

Netizens were disappointed in the first place to see Ranveer’s involvement in the show, despite being aware of the show’s format. Ranveer Allahbadia, best known for his channel BeerBiceps, was a panellist at Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent recently. Ranveer’s appearance on the show, and his attempts to match up to Samay and the show’s dark comedy, led to the start of this mess up.

Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent features a bunch of celebrities as ‘judges’ for performers. The contestants show their skills, and the judges score them. The contestants need to predict what score they get, and if they can, they win. In the latest episode, judge Ranveer was seen asking questions that did not sit right with the audience. His question said, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever,” Allahbadia, who has over 1 crore followers on YouTube, asked a contestant during the latest episode, which also featured content creators like Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makheja.

Speaking at the event, Selena was asked how she felt about the ongoing backlash affecting the film’s Academy Awards campaign. She responded, “I’m really good… Some of the magic has disappeared, but I choose to continue to be proud of what I’ve done, and I’m just, I’m just grateful and live with no regrets.” She further added, “And I would do this movie over and over again if I could.” Her words received applause from the audience.

Karla Sofia Gascón who plays the lead role in Emilia Pérez, has been under fire since old social media posts resurfaced, showing controversial statements about Black people, immigrants and Islam. Despite repeated apologies, the backlash has impacted the film’s awards campaign. Karla, the first openly transgender actor to be nominated for an Oscar in an acting category, addressed the situation in a CNN en Español interview, stating, “I cannot renounce a nomination because what I have done is a job… I am not a racist, nor am I anything that all these people have taken it upon themselves to try to make others believe that I am.”

Meanwhile, other members of the cast and crew have distanced themselves from Gascón’s statements. Actress Zoe Saldaña addressed the controversy saying, “It makes me really sad because I don’t support [it], and I don’t have any tolerance for any negative rhetoric towards people of any group.” Meanwhile, the film’s director Jacques Audiard also stated that he has severed ties with Gascón, calling her comments “inexcusable”.

Netflix, which launched an extensive awards campaign for Emilia Pérez, has scaled back its association with Karla and she will no longer attend promotional events. While the film continues to be a strong contender in several Oscar categories, the controversy has put its winning chances in doubt. As Oscar voting continues, industry experts speculate on whether the backlash will impact its chances for major wins.
