BTS’ Jungkook admits to breaking traffic laws and comes to agreement with the victim

Big Hit Entertainment finally revealed that BTS star Jungkook was involved in a car accident while driving through Hannam in the Yongsan District of Seoul and hit a taxi driver’s car.

Big Hit Entertainment has now revealed that BTS’ band member Jungkook was involved in a minor accident on 2 November as he was driving through Hannam in the Yongsan District of Seoul, and ended up hitting a Taxi driver’s car. Jungkook admitted to his fault and also made a settlement with the taxi driver.

Big Hit said in a statement said, “The police have not closed this case yet, so we cannot reveal the exact details, but Jungkook was driving his car last week when he had a minor collision with another vehicle due to his own mistake. Both the victim and Jungkook did not sustain any major injuries.” The agency further stated, “Jungkook admitted that he violated the road Traffic Act immediately after the accident. The scene of the accident was resolved and police questioning was completed according to the due process, and an amicable settlement was made with the victim afterwards. We once again apologise to the victim, and we also express apologies for causing concern to fans.”

Jeon Jung-kook and the driver were both rushed to the hospital where they were treated for minor bruises. The BTS member was later questioned by Seoul Yongsan Police Station about violating the Road Traffic Act. The police at that time stated, “We cannot reveal the details. We are currently investigating details.”

And though BTS didn’t attend the MTV Europe Music Awards function last night, they took home two gongs. RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook, Jin, Suga and J-Hope beat Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande as they took home the award for Best Live Act and the other for Best Fans, as it is not surprising the ARMY was named Biggest Fans.
