US police refuted claims of Goldy Brar, the alleged mastermind behind singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder, being killed in a California shooting. Two men were reportedly shot in Fresno’s Fairmont and Holt Avenue following a brawl, with one succumbing to injuries in the hospital. Social media speculation suggested the victim might be Brar, a gangster based in Canada, although this has not been confirmed by official sources and was also picked up by some news agencies.
The Fresno Police Department has officially addressed the reports, categorically stating them as “unfounded.” When questioned about the online rumors suggesting that the shooting victim might be “Goldy Brar,” Lieutenant William J. Dooley clarified, “If you are inquiring because of the online chatter claiming that the shooting victim is ‘Goldy Brar’, we can confirm that this is absolutely not true.”
He added, “We have received inquiries from around the world this morning as a result of misinformation being spread on social media and online news agencies. We are not sure who started this rumour, but it caught on and spread like wildfire. But again, it isn’t true. The victim is definitely not Goldy”.
According to local sources, the individual who lost his life in the incident has been identified as Xavier Galdney, aged 37.
Goldy Brar’s Connection With Sidhu Moosewala & Salman Khan
Satinderjit Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, is a wanted criminal who has been designated as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against him, and there is an outstanding non-bailable warrant for his arrest.
Believed to be a prominent member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Goldy Brar gained notoriety after claiming responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala in a Facebook post. Moose Wala was fatally shot in his car near his village in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
Brar is recognized as a significant figure within the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In the previous year, Brar had publicly declared actor Salman Khan as his next intended target.
