The sudden demise of Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor sent emotional shockwaves across the nation. The whole of B-town and the versatile actor’s fans mourned on his death. Meanwhile, some of the big names of Indian cricket fraternity also sent condolences to the Kapoor family at such hard times. They accompanied the condolences with a sweet message to pay tribute to the late actor.
Indian cricket team’s skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma expressed their emotions on Rishi Kapoor’s death by saying that it’s unreal and unbelievable.
Virat wrote, “This is unreal and unbelievable. Yesterday Irrfan Khan and today Rishi Kapoor ji. It’s hard to accept this as a legend passes away today. My condolences to the family and may his soul rest in peace.”
And his wife Anushka tweeted, “I’m at an absolute & total loss for words. Holding this phone in disbelief. Yesterday Irrfan and now …. Gutted , sad , heartbroken. I truly believed you’ll come out of this. You will be missed , Sir . RIP . Om Shanti.”
Team India’s fiery batsman Shikhar Dhawan also sent condolences to Rishi Kapoor’s family and close friends who are heartbroken by the news. He tweeted, “It’s shocking to hear about the sudden demise of #RishiKapoor ji. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace.”
The God of cricket, Sachin Tendulkar also got affected the sad news and sent condolences to Rishi Kapoor’s wife Neetu, son Ranbir Kapoor and the whole of Kapoor family. The batting maestro tweeted, “Very very sad to hear about the passing away of Rishi ji. I grew up watching his movies and he was always very gracious when we met over the years. May his soul Rest in Peace.” He further added, “My heartfelt condolences to Neetu ji, Ranbir and the whole Kapoor family.”
Even India’s carom ball expert Ravichandran Ashwin was also deeply saddened by the news. He tweeted, “Deeply saddened by the demise of #RishiKapoor ji, just as we are all coming to terms with the passing away of #IrfanKhan. Truly bad times these.”
The former India cricketer Mohammad Kaif also expressed his feeling on Rishi Kapoor’s demise by writing, “What an absolutely heartbreaking news to wake up to. I’m at a loss of words, rest in peace #RishiKapoor ji.”
Rishi Kapoor took his last breath in Mumbai yesterday after battling with cancer for 2 years. He was hospitalized a day before his death following his deteriorating health condition.
