Shocking! Poonam Pandey Is “Alive”? Confirms Umair Sandhu

Journalist and film critic, Umair Sandhu recently made a shocking revelation claiming that Poonam Pandey is alive and it was all a "publicity stunt".

The sudden death of Lockupp contestant Poonam Pandey took the internet by shock. Taking to her Instagram account, Poonam’s team announced her death issuing an official statement. The shocking and unfortunate news initially left the netizens in doubt and confusion as to whether it was only a publicity stunt, however, her publicist confirmed the model’s death leaving everyone shocked.

However, journalist and film critic, Umar Sandhu has now made a shocking revelation regarding Poonam Pandey’s death. Sharing a tweet Umair Sandhu revealed that he had contacted Poonam Pandey’s cousin and has confirmed that she is “alive” and is enjoying her “publicity stunt”.

He wrote, “Just called #PoonamPandey Cousin now, And she is Alive & enjoying her death news. She did Publicity Stunt !!!”

Reacting to the news many netizens shared their reactions and slammed Poonam Pandey. A user wrote, “Very cheap publicity stunt I must say”, “What is she trying to gain from this? If she isnt dead she should be arrested”.

However, many netizens on the other hand dismissed the claims stating that she did pass away and her mortal remains are in Kanpur. A user wrote, “Poonam is no more ye sach hai kanpur mai hai body”, another user wrote, “R u sure??? We want proof of life”.

For the unversed, on 2 February, a statement was shared on Poonam Panday’s Instagram account announcing her demise. The statement read, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.”
