After delivering his blockbuster hit film, Jailer in 2023, South megastar Rajinikanth is all set to appear in his daughter, Aishwarya Rajinikanth’s directorial, “Lal Salaam”. Lal Salaam will be a Tamil sports drama film featuring Rajinikanth in the role of “Moideen Bhai”. Lal Salaam Release Date

Initially, the Tamil sports drama was earlier expected to be released on Pongal, 12 January 2024. However, the film was later postponed and now the Rajinikanth starrer will hit the theatres on 9th January 2024.

Directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwarya, the Tamil film, Lal Salaam features Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film is touted to be a sports drama film featuring Rajinikanth in the role of “Moideen Bhai”. It is reported that legendary cricketer Kapil Dev will also be playing a special role in the film. Apart from them, the film will also feature Vishnu Vishal, Nirosha, Dhanya Balakrishna, Sajjadul Ahamed Riya, and others in significant roles.

As per the reports, Lal Salaam has been made on an overall budget of Rs 50 Crores. Reportedly, the South megastar Rajinikanth has reportedly charged a staggering 40 Crores for his role of Moideen Bhai in the Tamil sports drama.
