Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is one of the most renowned and versatile actresses in the entertainment industry, with a series of successful hits under her belt. Now the actress is in the headlines for another topic, as the rumours are that she is making her Cannes Film Festival 2023 debut.
Anushka will attend the event, at which many women around the world will be honoured. Her Cannes debut yesterday was confirmed by the French Ambassador.
India Emmanuel Lenain took to his official Twitter handle to share the update, sharing a photo of him posing with Anushka and Virat.
He wrote, A pleasure meeting @imVkohli and @AnushkaSharma! I wished Virat and #TeamIndia all the best for the upcoming tournaments and discussed Anushka’s trip to the Cannes Film Festival.
Anushka Sharma, who has been part of the highest-grossing Bollywood films such as Sultan (2016), and Rajkumar Hirani’s films PK (2014) and Sanju (2018), was last seen in a guest appearance role in the Netflix original Qala (2022). The actress is preparing for Chakda Xpress, which is a biopic of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami.
