Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra who earlier accused filmmaker Sajid Khan of “sexual misconduct” has now registered a complaint against him asking for his elimination from the reality television show Bigg Boss 16. The actress was recently spotted at the Juhu Police Station in Mumbai. During her chat with the media, the actress revealed that she had sent a letter to Union Minister, Anurag Thakur asking for the temporary suspension of Bigg Boss 16 until Sajid Khan gets ousted from the show.
Sherlyn Chopra Files Police Complaint Against Sajid Khan
In a recent chat with the media the actress revealed that she has now filed a complaint against Sajid Khan and he will be called for questioning soon, Sherlyn said, “I have come to the police station to file a complaint against Sajid Khan, who is a #MeToo accused. He is a habitual sexual predator and molester. I have come to file a complaint against him under IPC section 354, 354 A. The police have assured me that I will be called very soon to record my statement. After that, #MeToo accused Sajid Khan will also be called for questioning.”
As per an ETimes report, Sherlyn Chopra’s lawyer has said, “Today, Sherlyn has filed a police complaint against Sajid Khan under various sections and she has already dispatched it to the Juhu police station to register an FIR against Sajid under Section 354 for outraging the modesty of a woman. One of Sherlyn’s conditions is that Sajid should be suspended from the Bigg Boss show. She has already written to Union Minister Anurag Thakur. And in a day or two, we’re issuing a notice to Colors TV also to stop airing the episodes of Bigg Boss wherever Sajid is there.”
Sajid Khan Faces Extreme Backlash
Sajid Khan is facing extreme backlash for appearing on the reality tv show Bigg Boss 16 many celebrities from the industry have opposed his participation in the show stating that a #MeToo accused shouldn’t be allowed to appear on a show with a huge viewership like Bigg Boss. For the unversed, Sajid Khan was earlier accused by many women of sexual misconduct, the news came to rise during the #MeToo movement, soon after which Sajid was served with a ban of 1 year by FWICE.
