The Housefull actor Chunky Panday made an outstanding place in Bollywood despite being an outsider. In the 37 years of his cinematic career, he has created a filmy background where his next generation can step in. Following his roots, his elder daughter Ananya Panday is doing a fabulous job in the industry. She received recognition after her debut film ‘Student of the Year 2’. And now she is one of the leading actresses in Bollywood. The Kho Gaye Hum Kahan actress makes headlines due to the sizzling gossip about her relationship. Father Chunky Panday reacted to Ananya having a boyfriend, in the latest exclusive interview with Lehren Retro.
In the interview with senior journalist Bharthi Pradhan, Chunky Panday lauded his daughter and he overwhelmingly talked about her. He said, “Agar mein actor nahi hota, still agar mere yaha Ananya paida hoti, she would still have been an actor (If I had been an actor and Ananya would have been born in my family, she would have still been an actor).” Just like any other father, he confessed that he is a very nervous father too. “I am always paranoid, I am really nervous not for them as much as if they ever have boyfriends,” he added. And, of course, everyone knows, Ananya does have a boyfriend. Chunky disclosed that he felt bad for his daughters’ boyfriends because he has spoiled, pampered and loved his daughters a lot. “I think they (daughters) would expect that from anyone else,” he said.
Ananya Panday talks about her boyfriend Aditya Roy Kapoor. They guys have been dating each other since a year, but they haven’t made any official news of their relationship. When he was asked how he feels as a father when he hears about Ananya’s boyfriend, he replied, “I mean it’s fine. I mean, she is 25. She is earning more money than I am right now. So she is free to do what she wants to. How dare I tell her, my 25-year-old daughter, that you have a boyfriend?”
Now that the Dream Girl 2 actress is mature enough, Chunky doesn’t want to intervene in her personal life. He quipped, “I mean I can understand, if she was 14-year-old or something, I could interfere but..” He admired his daughter a lot.
