Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee recently tied the knot with her boyfriend and gym trainer Shahnawaz Sheikh. The actress took everyone by surprise after she uploaded pictures from her wedding on her social media. However, the actress faced extreme social media backlash and trolling for getting married to her Muslim husband.
Despite extreme trolling and backlash, the actress didn’t back down a bit to share her happiness with her fans. Devoleena recently took to her social media handle to share videos from her wedding festivities. In the shared video, the actress was seen getting decked up in a traditional red and white saree.
Sharing reactions many fans and friends of the actress shared their reactions. Devoleena’s friend Vishal Singh shared his reaction with heart emojis. It is believed that Devoleena’s marriage ceremony took place in Lonavala. Devoleena and Shahnawaz’s wedding was a close-knit affair and very few close friends and celebs including Vishal Singh and Bhavini Purohit were invited to the wedding of the actress. The couple has reportedly registered for the wedding beforehand.
Last year, the actress revealed about dating however she did not reveal his identity. Devoleena said, “Currently, I am happy in my relationship, but you never know when things change. I want to take time to understand life and various situations. Even though my partner is very understanding and supportive, one never knows what can happen in the future. I am not someone who hides things. Once I decide to get married, I will let everyone know about it,”
