Here’s When West Side Story Will Release On Disney+ After Earning 7 Oscar Nominations

The Romeo and Juliet-inspired movie West Side Story was released in theatres in December 2021. And after more than two months, Disney+ announced that you can stream West Side Story while sitting on your sofa from March 2. However, Steven Spielberg’s remake of the 1961 original scored a total of seven Academy Award nominations including for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actress for Ariana DeBose, who plays Anita.

West Side Story also stars Rita Moreno, Ansel Elgort, Maddie Ziegler, Mike Faist, David Alvarez, Kyle Allen, and Brian d’Arcy James.
