The Gray Man: Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo, also known as Russo Brothers recently attended the premiere of their film ‘The Gray Man’ in Mumbai on July 20. The director duo graced the red carpet with Tamil actor Dhanush, who makes his Hollywood debut with ‘The Gray Man’. Meanwhile, during their interaction with the media, the duo hinted toward the sequel of the film featuring Lone Wolf which is played by the South actor Dhanush.
Russo Brothers Talks About Bringing Dhanush In Sequel Of Gray Man
On Wednesday, 20 July, the Russo brothers attended an event in Mumbai promoting their film ‘The Gray Man’ with actor Dhanush. Meanwhile, during their interaction with the media, the duo hinted at planning a sequel of their film which will also feature Dhanush’s character ‘Lone Wolf’. Anthony said, “I keep getting texts from people I know that say ‘more Dhanush’,”.
Talking about the same Joseph Russo said, “It is based on a book series, so there is the opportunity to expand in a sense in future movies. We love to keep going with our world, because we love our characters. But maybe the audience can tell as what they want to see more in the story about. If we do continue forward with the story, I can guarantee you that Dhanush’s character would be a part of that world, moving forward.” When Dhanush was asked about the same on being a part of the sequel he simply went off saying, “A phone call.”
Meanwhile, talking about the South actor Russo Brothers said, “It has been incredible and amazing. He is one of the most amazing actors on the planet. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with him. I think people are gonna love the performance that he gives in the movie. He is so talented, but also he is an amazing person as well.”
Russo Brothers are best known for directing four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It includes Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). They are the second most commercially successful directors of all time.
