Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo, collectively known as Russo Brothers attended the premiere of their film ‘The Gray Man’ in Mumbai on July 20. The director duo graced the red carpet with Tamil actor Dhanush, who makes his Hollywood debut with ‘The Gray Man’.
Russo Brothers praised Dhanush and called him ‘one of the most amazing actors on the planet’. While interacting with the Indian media, Russo Brothers said, “It has been incredible and amazing. He is one of the most amazing actors on the planet. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with him. I think people are gonna love the performance that he gives in the movie. He is so talented, but also he is an amazing person as well.”
Expressing their excitement about being in India, they said, “It’s amazing being here. We are so grateful to Dhanush for being in the film and we are very excited to share this movie with Indian fans. We could feel the excitement among the fans in India. We are very lucky to be here and present the movie. And we want to thank India for hosting us. We love India. It is our third trip here. Last time we were here for Avengers Endgame. It’s been a few years but I am very happy to be back here.”
Russo Brothers are best known for directing four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It includes Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). They are the second most commercially successful directors of all time.
Talking about Dhanush, he is a superstar in Tamil cinema and has a fan base pan India. He was last seen in the Bollywood movie ‘Atrangi Re’, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. His Hollywood debut movie ‘The Gray Man’ has an OTT release on 22 July. The film stars Chris Evans and Ryan Gosling in the lead roles.
