Taylor Swift Sent Katy Perry An Adorable Hand-Embroidered Blanket!
The 35-year-old “Smile” singer welcomed her first child, daughter Daisy Dove, last month with fiancé Orlando Bloom, and the family of three has continued to receive flowers and presents from famous friends since.
Perry revealed on Sunday that Taylor Swift sent Katy Perry’s little angel Daisy a hand-embroidered pink blanket to her.
“Miss ?? adores her hand embroidered blankie from miss @taylorswift ??? ,” Katy wrote in the caption for a photo of the blanket that came with a note from Taylor Swift she posted on Instagram, dated May 3, from Swift, 30.

“Hope it’s one she drags around for years till it becomes an unrecognizable shred that she keeps in her pocket as a teenager ?♥️,” Perry added.
For years, Swift and Perry had a tumultuous friendship that appeared to inspire the hit song of Swift, “Bad Blood,” and the “Swish Swish.” of Perry. But last June, the couple collaborated for Swift’s “You Need to Calm Down” music video while wearing burger and fries costumes.
Perry explained in a recent interview with the Howard Stern Show that she and Swift wished to openly put aside their differences and put “an example” for their younger fans.
“Gossip in life can take the elevator but the truth takes the stairs. It just takes time,” said Perry, adding their dispute at the time was somewhat grossly exaggerated.
“What I’m so grateful for is we did get to make up publicly and got to be an example of redemption for young girls,” she told Stern.
Last year, during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Perry expressed similar feelings about her friendship with Swift.
“It was actually just a misunderstanding but we have such big groups of people that like to follow us,” the singer clarified, “and so they kind of started turning against each other a little bit too.”
