Sam Asghari will not receive a single penny from Britney Spears’ memoir, which is set to be released in October. The duo parted ways, and Sam filed for divorce. However, they had gotten engaged in September 2021 and tied the knot in June 2022. Both Sam and Britney have broken their silence on the divorce through social media.
Britney is currently preparing to publish her memoir, titled ‘The Woman in Me,’ in October. The website britneybook.com describes the memoir as “a brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.”
Nevertheless, Sam will not be receiving any amount from Britney. An insider revealed to Page Six, “Britney and Sam have a totally iron-clad prenup. He gets basically nothing – there are no millions, and he certainly will not profit from Britney’s book, that’s her book.”
Initially, it was Sam who shared the news of their separation on his Instagram account, writing, “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other, my wife and I have decided to end our journey together.” He expressed that they would always cherish the love and respect they hold for each other, wished her the best, and concluded with a candid “sh** happens.” While acknowledging the challenges of privacy, Sam urged “everyone including the media, to be kind and thoughtful.”
Following Sam’s announcement, Britney herself expressed her shock on her own Instagram account, writing, “As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together… 6 years is a long time to be with someone, so I’m a little shocked but… I’m not here to explain why because it’s honestly nobody’s business!!! But, I couldn’t take the pain anymore, honestly!!! In some sort of telepathic way, I have been receiving so many heartfelt messages from friends and I thank you!!! I’ve been portraying strength for way too long, and my Instagram may seem perfect, but it’s far from reality, and I think we all know that!!!”.
