Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas took their love to the next level and had matching tattoos. However, the story behind is more endearing than the tattoo itself. In a recent interview with Vogue, the actress gets candid about some of her unique personality and style qualities. And during that, Priyanka revealed, “I have a check and a box behind my ears.”
The actress added, “My husband has them on his arms because when he proposed, he asked me, that I checked all his boxes, and would I check another one?” While Priyanka didn’t offer up a look at the design in the video interview, she did add a few extra reflections about her husband Jonas. The Baywatch star revealed that Nick balances out her “tornado” personality.
Priyanka gushed, “My husband is super thoughtful. When he’s around, everything feels like it’ll be okay. He has taught me to approach things from a much calmer place.” For the unversed, Priyanka and Nick have been married since December 2018. They first connected when the Jonas Brothers star reached out to Priyanka on Twitter, and the couple later met in person at an Oscars afterparty in 2017.
Priyanka and Nick welcomed their bundle of joy, Malti Marie, last year on January 15 via surrogacy. And as their daughter turned one this year, they had a lavish bash to celebrate the special day, but they are yet to share the photos. Recently, the actress got candid about using a surrogate to welcome daughter Malti Marie with husband Nick Jonas last year, explaining how her health prevented her from carrying her child herself.
In the February cover story of British Vogue, Priyanka revealed, “I had medical complications. This was a necessary step, and I’m so grateful I was in a position where I could do this.” The actress continues, “Our surrogate was so generous, kind, lovely and funny, and she took care of this precious gift for us for six months.” Chopra also addressed those who criticized her decision to use a surrogate saying, “You don’t know me.”
Bollywood queen further shared, “You don’t know what I’ve been through. And just because I don’t want to make my medical history, or my daughter’s, the public doesn’t give you the right to make up whatever the reasons were.” Priyanka went on the explain that Malti, who just celebrated her first birthday on January 15, had to be delivered a full trimester before her due date.
