In a recent column for a national daily, Twinkle Khanna, the spouse of actor Akshay Kumar and a well-known author, humorously dismissed rumors alleging that she performed a medley of songs for underworld figure Dawood Ibrahim.
Responding to the false information, Khanna expressed her amusement upon spotting her name in a television channel ticker, which wrongly suggested her participation in a performance for Dawood. She amusingly noted that even her children find her dancing abilities more akin to a chaotic wrestling match than the graceful performance one might anticipate for Dawood Ibrahim.
Twinkle said, “I have even seen my name on a mainstream television channel ticker saying I had performed a medley of songs for Dawood. Considering that even my children think my dancing skills are akin to watching a WWF match between a lone wrestler and gravity, the news channels should have known that Dawood would have chosen more skilled performers. But such is the world of fake news”
Since 2001, Twinkle Khanna has been in a joyful marriage with Akshay Kumar, and they share two children, Aarav and Nitara. Khanna has humorously expressed her inclination for her children to “elope” to sidestep the intricacies of organizing extravagant wedding celebrations in the future.
